Ces convoyeurs sont constitu\u00e9s de rouleaux mont\u00e9s sur un cadre commun, sur lequel les marchandises sont d\u00e9plac\u00e9es. Les convoyeurs \u00e0 rouleaux sont utilis\u00e9s dans les lignes de production, les installations de tri postal, les entrep\u00f4ts et m\u00eame les zones de caisse des supermarch\u00e9s. Dans le cas de syst\u00e8mes de convoyage \u00e9tendus, la gestion de la maintenance d'un si grand nombre de roulements - n\u00e9cessitant une lubrification, un remplacement et des r\u00e9parations constants - peut s'av\u00e9rer difficile.
